GRIEF

In this edition of #CWA we explore different perspectives of grief.

Can we grieve the opposite of what we want?
What happens when we suppress grief?

Many of us associate grief with situations when a loved one passes away however any significant change, including positive ones like getting a better job, moving countries or losing weight can create feelings of grief.

What most of us don't realise is that transitioning into something new and letting go of the old means giving up a part of ourselves away.

Depika explains why grief is our body's way of letting go of our past life and adjusting to the new life.  It often comes with a sense of excitement but also a sense of loss, of losing our old self.
